TA-Petro Country Pride and Iron Skillet Restaurants to Present $5,000 to National Military Family Association
TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping Centers® travel center brands, has partnered with the National Military Family Association (NMFA), a nonprofit that works to strengthen and protect military families, to benefit veterans and their families in need.
From June 28 to August 5, participating Country Pride® and Iron Skillet® locations contributed $1.00 to the NMFA for each entrée ordered by professional drivers and guests from a select group of menu items. A check in the amount of $5,000 will be presented to NMFA on Wednesday, September 21 at 8:30 a.m. in Alexandria, VA.
"It’s always an honor to be able to give back and acknowledge those that have sacrificed their life for our country," noted Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters. "Each year our drivers and employees eagerly look forward to helping veterans in need and I couldn’t be more proud of their efforts and dedication to this beneficial campaign."
“We are so thankful to work with TravelCenters of America again this year to help bring awareness and support to our nation’s military families,” said Joyce Wessel Raezer, NMFA Executive Director. “It’s wonderful to be able to reach folks across the country through TravelCenters of America’s great facilities and partnership.”
