Motorist Praises Welcoming Nature of TA Team Member
Customer Service Representative Ladeja Melton makes it her top priority to welcome each and every guest who comes in to TA Bernardo.
“Every day I come to work, I make it my personal mission to return every traveler to the road better than they came,” she said.
When Site General Manager Cynthia Lanus received a letter from a guest complimenting Ladeja, she was not surprised.
“Ladeja is one of the most friendly people and always goes above and beyond to help others. She is a model team member and naturally embodies the Welcoming value,” said Cynthia. “I am so pleased to have her on my team.”
The letter reads in part:
Earlier this month I had the opportunity to travel, and this journey took us through numerous towns and cities. As we entered the town of Sealy, Texas we needed to refuel and decided to stop at TA Bernardo because the building was attractive, the lawn was manicured and free of debris and a sign was displayed out front that said “Welcome”. We were immediately impressed.
As we entered, we encountered customer service team member, Ms. Ladeja Melton. She greeted and welcomed us as well as all the other guests. She was friendly, courteous, positive and professional. We also noticed that she possessed an extraordinary amount of patience, flexibility and empathy allowing her to provide the highest degree of service to meet our needs.
As we left, we reflected on our experience at TA and compared it with all the other places we had stopped at on our trip. Ladeja went above and beyond other places. She took such pride in her job and really knew that her interaction with guests will ultimately determine if they recommend the store to their family and friends.
We left TA feeling appreciated and hopeful knowing there are individuals who take pride in providing a positive shopping experience. We felt compelled to make you aware of her commitment to TA. I would highly recommend Ladeja be recognized for her excellent customer service skills and provided an opportunity to advance in your company to use her skills and talents to train other team members.
