Hillsboro TSA’s love for TA, Truck Service and Guests is Abundant

Patti Ferguson, TSA at TA Hillsboro, Texas, (site 333) brings some of her small town friendliness to work every day. All that friendliness is in addition to the skills she brings to the job. Ashley England, District Manager, says, “Being a TSA is one of the hardest jobs in our company. You have to deal with team members, truck drivers and companies over the phone and on the computer.” She describes Patti as knowledgeable, always willing to help and calm even during the most stressful times.

Ashley goes on to say, “It takes a special person to do that position well. Patti’s professional and at the same time nurturing. Her team members respect her.” Chrissy Garner, Truck Service Assistant Manager, and David Reynolds, Truck Service Manager, add, “Patti is a people person; the drivers stop to see her, and you can go to her for anything.” The compliments from coworkers and guests refer to Patti’s ability to listen, understand their needs and resolve problems. They say that she makes them feel as though they are the only person there.

Patti has been with TA five years but has been immersed in the business for a long time – her husband of more than 20 years is a driver!
