From U.S. Military to TA Truck Service: Nate Landis Continues to Serve

NathanielLandis

Our very own Nate Landis, Truck Service Specialist, was featured in this issue of Search and Employ, a publication dedicated to helping military veterans and their spouses find employment after their tour of duty is complete.

Nate was primed for a career at TA! After serving 20 years as a maintenance supervisor in the U.S. Army, he had the skills and
experience to transition into a role in Truck Service.

Nate spent 10 years in infantry and combat service engineer units where he provided equipment maintenance and quality assurance. He served in Kosovo, Bosnia, and Iraq multiple times.

While in Iraq, he served as a technical inspector, a battalion motor sergeant, and a maintenance control sergeant. "I also had the opportunity to instruct for two years in Advanced Individual Training with the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Germany," he says.

His first role at TA was Assistant Profit Center Manager with Truck Service. After several promotions, Nate now serves as a Regional Truck Service Specialist, a role he relishes.

“My favorite part of my job with TA Truck Service is that I get to coach, train, and mentor daily,” says Nate. “I can guide our shop managers in everything from shop operations to improving their leadership skills.”
