Cashier Honored with CEO Award for Her Welcoming Ways

Felicia Lloyd will be the first to tell you, “I love my job!”
Her job is Lead Cashier at the Petro in Jackson, Mississippi. She’s worked at TA for 14 years, 13 years at the Iron Skillet restaurant and one year as a store cashier. She’s the type of team member everyone wants to work with, and guests remember.
And that’s why she was recently honored with TA’s highest award given to team members: the CEO Award for Leadership and Innovation. Felicia exudes all TA values – but especially this one: providing a welcoming experience. “I love my customers and my colleagues,” she says. And the feeling is mutual.
Her outgoing personality is a magnet for guests who spend long stretches of time on the road in solitude. Guests know her by name – recognition not many in the world of retail can related to. “I appreciate them and want them to come back,” she says. And they do. Time and time again.
Felicia looks forward to every day she gets to go to work. And when other sites are short-staffed, she is first in line to help. “I do what it takes to get the job done.'
On the CEO award nomination form, a colleague wrote: “She shares ideas and ways to make the business better and is always willing to help and travel to assist at sites around Petro Jackson. She has been named Employee of the Month several times and is well deserving of this honor.” We couldn’t agree more.
If you happen to be traveling through Jackson, Mississippi, be sure to stop by the Petro for a warm Felicia welcoming.
