Arkansas Trucking Association Celebrates Drivers at Petro North Little Rock for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

On Sept. 17, The Arkansas Trucking Association hosted an event at the Petro North Little Rock to celebrate the millions of professional truck drivers who work each day to deliver America’s freight safely. For over 20 years, the Arkansas TruckingAssociation has helped us celebrate drivers at this location located on I-40, where more than 15,000 trucks travel east of North Little Rock each day.

CEO Jon Pertchik and other leaders joined the fun this year, grilling chicken and burgers and meeting hundreds of drivers. This year’s event was called “Loads of Gratitude,” and ATA delivered lunch and hosted a laundry drive to show appreciation for the men and women who have “proved that the loads they carry are essential to our way of life.”

In an executive proclamation, Gov. Asa Hutchinson has officially declared September 13 - 19 Truck Driver Appreciation Week in Arkansas.
