On Feb. 21, 2018 we proudly announced our sponsorship of the TA Truck Service Challenge for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series. For NASCAR transport haulers, this is where the race weekend starts.
Testing Competitors’ DOT Knowledge, Maintenance Checks and More
The TA Truck Service Challenge gives professional truck drivers affiliated with the NASCAR racing circuit a chance to be recognized for their knowledge and skills. On the Thursday before the Cup race, these experts go head to head in a skills course navigation test, a pre-trip check and a written DOT regulations exam.
While you may not be competing in the Challenge, you can still put your DOT knowledge to the test. Each week, the official TA Truck Service Challenge Facebook page will be posting DOT safety tips that are also questions straight from the Challenge quiz. Follow along to see how you’d do.
Over the course of six races, drivers earn points for correct answers, plus their skills behind the wheel and are rewarded with nearly $50,000 in prize money. The top scorer at each individual competition will win a $1,000 prize and at the end of the season, the hauler with the most points overall will be crowned the TA Truck Service Grand Champion. The first place driver will win $25,000, second place will win $10,000 and third place will win $5,000.

- Charlotte Motor Speedway, September 27-30
Inside the Fan Zone
In addition to the Challenge, TA Truck Service will join other vendors inside the Fan Zone during each NASCAR race, providing information about tire purchases as well as the maintenance, repairs and services that we offer. If you’re at a NASCAR event, come visit us in the Fan Zone for fun giveaways and more information about the TA Truck Service.

If you’re not attending one of the six NASCAR events, you can still join in on the fun. Get up close and personal with the official truck of the competition as it stops at five TA and Petro Stopping Centers around each race location.
Representatives from vendor partners will be at each stop giving away swag, talking about tire purchases, answering tire-related questions and giving you all the details you need to know about the Challenge.
