The Fun Four of Snack Attack is Set

The Regional Championships are complete. Now we look forward to the Fun Four matchups in the TravelCenters of America Snack Attack bracket! We’re here with your bracket fix as we’re on our way to finding out the championship matchup. As a refresher, each week we will calculate sales of the standard-sized candies and snack-sized snacks Monday through Sunday. After each week, based on your purchases, the strongest competitor will advance. If you’re out, be sure to stop into one of our locations and help your favorites make it to the Championship matchup!

In the Chip Region, Lays Classics brought its A-Game and had its best performance of the tournament. Unfortunately for them, it wasn’t enough against the favorite Doritos Nachos. Doritos Nachos will move on to face the winner of the Candy Region. Will they be able to take care of business against a non-chip foe? We will have to wait to find out.

The Candy Region had the closest matchup of all the Regional Championship this round. Original Gourmet Lollipops suckered the Haribo Goldbears out of the tournament. They will be heavy underdogs as the face the most consistent snack of the bracket so far, Doritos Nachos. Can they do what no other chip was able to do and pull the upset?

The Chocolate Region saw a rematch of last year’s bracket finals with Snickers vs. Tootsie Roll Pops. Last year the underdog Tootsie Roll Pops was able to pull off the victory. This year Snickers got its revenge to win the Chocolate Region with the aid of a popular buy one get one free promotion to close out March. On the left side of the bracket they will face the winner of the Salty Region. Can they continue this momentum?

Lastly, in the Salty Region, the favorite won out. Planters Tube Peanuts was able to get it done against Combos Cheddar Cheese Pretzel to become the Salty Region champions. Now their work really begins as they go up against the heavy favorite: Snickers. Could they pull the big upset and make it to the Snack Attack Finals? Time will tell.

As a reminder, at the end of the bracket look for a coupon of the winning snack on the UltraOne Kiosk April 13 through April 17. Who do you think is going to win? Follow along on our Facebook and Twitter pages, updates on our blog, and at site on our digital TV boards.
