Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween

Halloween’s origin dates back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, 2,000 years ago in Northern Europe on November 1. It marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter. On the night of October 31, the Celts believed that ghosts of the dead returned to earth as the line between living and dead became blurred. That night became known as Halloween.

In honor of this 2,000 year old tradition, TA and Petro Stopping Centers has a great selection for your Halloween needs. Do you want to get in the Halloween spirit with some scary movies? Look for our “Halloween DVD Blow Out” where you can get 2/$10 or one for $5.99 at participating locations. Do you have a sweet tooth for Halloween candy? Look for Ghost Twix, Snicker Pumpkins, Hershey’s Candy Corn chocolate, and much, much more. Are you more of a classic candy person? We also offer 18oz. Howe’s Harvest Mix and Candy Corn, 2/$6*.
